Ok, I have a new favorite restaurant: Fio's La Fourchette.  Wednesday night we had the best meal of our lives at this phenomenal place.  I really didn't think any restaurant would ever replace Cyrano's, but Fio's was just too good.

I think there are very few problems in life that cannot be helped by a great belly laugh--you know--a huge gush of gaiety rolling up from your tummy and bursting forth from your wide and smiling face.  Laughter and joy build on one another and stand opposite the vicious cycle of pity and depression.

For the last time, I do not practice Karate!  Karate and most of the other "hard" styles are linear martial arts that exist as crude forms of generating power that will not survive into old age.  Kung Fu, Tai Chi Chuan (my style), and other "soft" styles are subtle and complex but train the body in ways that will last a lifetime.
